Position Summary:                                                                                                                           

The guest engagement team Webmaster is responsible for all website updates, ongoing optimization, troubleshooting, ADA compliance, SEO execution, and UX/UI website innovation.

 

Oversees all technical interfaces related to the company’s web presence, including the Content Management System (CMS). WordPress CMS experience preferred. Ensures website is well managed and healthy, maintaining consistent system availability for web platform with only scheduled downtime during releases.

 

Implements coding best practices related to site performance, SEO and User Experience. Responsible for maintaining mobile responsiveness and visual accessibility for all web content. Works with vendors and internal teams for Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager implementations for event-based tracking, data layer execution, and ensures website analytics are working properly.

 

Works directly with marketing technology project manager who will provide calendar and schedule for all upcoming website updates, both cohesively defining priorities and timelines as well as level of effort associated.

 

Working with marketing technology project manager to plan content changes, new web features, pages, and mini-sites, and migration to new operating platforms if necessary

 

                                   

Position Accountabilities:                           

  • Manages CMS (WordPress) for website content updates
  •  Ongoing SEO optimization and establishes an SEO reporting structure
  • Works with vendor for ongoing back-end maintenance and front-end optimizations for page speed
  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager implementations and integrating into Google Data Studio for visualization
  • Provides updates, reports, and manages the ADA compliance of website
  • Constantly seeking to innovate web through a mobile first mindset providing suggestions, feedback, and thoughts on UX/UI using analytics and user behavioral tools
  • Works collaboratively with Brand, Creative, and Guest engagement team to understand future website needs as they relate to business KPIs
  • Provides feedback and suggestions for creative assets for web UX/UI best practices
  • Works with Yext for local page updates and ensures the right content is being displayed

Performance & Success Measures

  • Consistent on time web updates within each sprint cycle as defined by the project manager
  • Making sure website tracking and analytics are functioning properly and accurately between web and third-party integrations (Yext)
  • Delivers weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for SEO optimization, web analytics, and heatmapping / behavioral analytics depending on business needs
  • Transparent communication between marketing and cross-functional teams to align on website updates and ongoing feedback
  • Monitors website stability including uptime, page speed, links, images, and all other associated website UX is working as intended
  • Seek to understand business KPI’s and how we can use the website to help support and drive

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS

 

Experience

  • Experience working with a CMS (WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Sitefinity, Sitecore, AEM)
  • Experience with SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
  • Experience with SEO tools (SEM Rush, BrightEdge, Moz) is a plus but not necessary
  • Experience or working knowledge of front-end development languages (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, PHP)
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and working knowledge of Google Data Studio
  • Experience with UX/UI design and some knowledge of adobe suite (photoshop, illustrator)
  • Passion for UX/UI innovation
  • Understanding of web site front-end integrations such as Rest APIs
  • Experience using Scrum software (Asana, Trello, JIRA)

 

Essential Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret written information such as procedure manuals, Company communications or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to frequently use hands to finger, handle or feel.
  • Ability to Travel may be required to attend off-site training, meetings and seminars.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods in one location which may be restricted to the employee’s workstation.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
