Checkers and Rally’s is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to drive innovation and excellence in our restaurant technology ecosystem. With 8+ years of expertise in software QA, systems integration, service management, and menu strategy, the Senior Manager of Restaurant Technology will lead cross-functional teams in developing, enhancing, and maintaining core systems such as POS, KDS, and online ordering. A strong foundation in digital menu management and understanding of drive-thru restaurant operations with voice-enabled AI are key to ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational agility.
Position Accountabilities
- Lead high-performing teams managing restaurant systems, POS, KDS, online ordering systems, and drive thru and restaurant automation.
- Oversee digital menu accuracy and delivery across multiple platforms
- Drive platform rollouts, upgrades, DR planning, and seamless systems integration
- Guide end-to-end SDLC validation and testing for enterprise-level software
- Conduct in-field pilots and support technology rollouts across franchise and corporate locations
- Champion process improvements, compliance reviews, and UAT success
- Act as escalation lead, collaborating across operations and development
- Develop team growth through coaching, collaboration, and KPI-driven success
- Stay current on emerging QSR technology trends, vendors, and customer behavior
Employment Standards
- Strong working knowledge of ISTQB Foundation principles and ITIL-aligned practices
- Proven experience in cross-platform menu management and systems integration
- Familiarity with drive-thru technology ecosystems and voice AI ordering solutions
- Skilled in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
- Technical fluency in systems such as Azure, SQL, and Office 365
- Experience in point-of-sale systems such as Oracle, NCR, PAR, Aloha
- Strong interpersonal communication and cross-functional leadership skills
- Prior experience in CDR, FCR or QSR environments highly preferred
